CLOSING DATE Thursday 30th April 2015
AGE LIMITS: Juniors 12 years to less than 17 years in the year of the swim.
Seniors 17 years and over in the year of the swim.
DATE OF SWIM:

Women - Saturday 30th May 2015 at 13:00 hours.

Men - Sunday 31st May 2015 at 13:40 hours.

CLOSING DATE: Thursday 30th April 2015.
ENTRY FEE: £20.00 (£12.00 if supplying own Boat & Crew).
DISTANCE: 1 Mile – Crossing the river.
PARKING: Free parking is available at Tayport Harbour and at the YEAABA pier Broughty Ferry. Swimmers should arrange transport to the start, going over in boats is NOT an option.
BRIEFING:

Women - On the day at Tayport Harbour car park at 12:30 prompt

Men - On the day at Tayport Harbour car park at 13:10 prompt

START: On the starters/referees instruction, swimmers should promptly access the water via the harbour slipway or ladder, and line up with backs to the harbour wall, west of the harbour entrance. Start will be by loud hailer.
COURSE: This is a point-to-point, across the tide-ways swim from Tayport Harbour to Broughty Ferry Harbour, and the line will be as straight as the currents and your ability permits. Please follow your boat at all times.
FINISH: By touching the river-facing wall of the YEAABA pier. N.B. A swimmer finishing, but missing the “touch” due to tidal conditions will be accorded a certificate but no official time or place in the race.
PRESENTATION: Will be at the YEAABA clubhouse on completion of the swim.
