The NYC Swim was inducted in the Class of 2010 by the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame as a Honoree Club & Organisation.

Tens of thousands of swimmers of every age, ability and background have participated in the open water swims organized in the New York area by the NYC Swim.

NYC Swim, an enthusiastic group of open water swimmers and volunteers who annually organize several swims around New York City, including the world-famous and extremely popular 28.5-mile Manhattan Island Marathon Swim, one of the world's top 100 open water swims, as well as the Great Hudson River Swim, Liberty Island Swim, Stars & Stripes: Aquathlon and Swim
Aquathlon, Brooklyn Bridge Swim, 10K New York Pro Swim, Governors Island Swim, 10K Little Red Lighthouse Swim and the 17.5-mile Ederle Swim.

The legacy of NYC Swim is closing in on a 100-year history of swimming in and around New York City with its growth and popularity still on the rise.
